This May, our residents at Buttercup House enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of flower arranging, bringing colour, creativity, and plenty of smiles to the home. Using a beautiful selection of fresh seasonal flowers, everyone had the opportunity to create their own unique arrangements while sharing stories, laughter, and memories together.
Flower arranging is not only a relaxing and enjoyable activity, but it also encourages creativity, social interaction, and wellbeing for our residents. It was lovely to see everyone taking pride in their beautiful displays, which brightened up both bedrooms and communal areas throughout the home. Research and care-home activity specialists often highlight flower arranging as a meaningful activity that promotes wellbeing and connection for older adults.
At Buttercup House, we are passionate about providing engaging and enriching activities tailored to our residents’ interests and wellbeing.
