Support and Training?
The Dementia Training Company have worked alongside Buttercup House Care Home and its staff since 2012. In 2015 a review was completed by Tim and Sarah to measure how dementia friendly our home was. The review included dementia mapping of some of our residents, physical environment measure, inspiring leadership in person centred care, a review of the dining experience and the activity experience. The review helped support the team to improve and develop the home into a dementia friendly home.
The Dementia Training Company support us with onsite training to our staff annually.
Dementia Awareness Evenings are organised yearly with friends, families, residents, staff and professionals.
