Your Keyworker

You will be appointed your own personal keyworker and it is their role to support you in living your life in the manner you wish to.

They will work with you, and your family, friend or representative should you wish them to, to support you to plan your care and life choices.

We aim to act in your best interests at all times, so we urge you to share your opinions and not be afraid to raise a complaint or concern should you feel the need. We encourage you to be involved in the running of the home, which may be through our monthly meetings, feedback forms, suggestion boxes or through one-to-one discussion.

You room is your own personal space and your keyworker will support you in making it as comfortable and personal to you as possible. They can also assist you in arranging for your favourite newspapers and/or magazines to be delivered, or provide you with contact details for you to arrange this independently.

We run many activities that you can take part in should you wish, and we will also support you if you want to join or continue membership of any external organisations. We have religious services within the home, but if you would rather attend a local place of worship then this can be arranged. Our aim is to help you stay in touch with the community and your friends.

If you need further information you can ask your keyworker or any member of staff. We’re here to support you however we can.
